'Solstice Global Healing' - 18th Dec 2016

2016 “Total R.E.S.P.E.C.T.” Interfaith Art Exhibition

Where: Bright space Gallery, St Kilda

“Total R.E.S.P.E.C.T.” Interfaith Art Exhibition will be a celebration for World Peace.

Opening night on UN International World Peace Day 21st September 2016. We will explore the harmonious common connection of individuals and groups who are multi-faith, multi belief and multi-cultural. Artists will use their story to celebrate their beliefs and understandings sharing their inner thoughts and personal journeys. The Exhibition will explore spiritual or inner life experience through visual arts, to spread peace and unity." The exhibition will focus on walking together in peace and harmony with total respect of all differences.

About Us

PHAAA - Planetary Healing Artists Association of Australia inc. is a group of artists & creatives including visual artists, performers, writers, healers, entertainers, friends and diverse cultures of people in the community.
We meet the 1st Thursday bi- monthly at 7.30pm, upstairs at St Kilda RSL, 88 Acland Street, St Kilda.
PHAAA has a goal to connect, unify and empower artists who are committed to addressing environmental & sustainability issues creatively living in a world of peace and harmony.
The Planetary Healing Artists vision for 2010, was to organize an exhibition and performance for a public space in Port Phillip. The exhibition entitled “Endangered” and the play "Earth's Fever" were the outcome of their efforts, and coincided with the 2011 St Kilda Festival. In 2012 another exhibition with the theme Healing the Bay was held in St Kilda and a Global Healing Day event bringing all people together for enormous healing on Mother Earth.
In 2013 an exhibition "Oh My Gaia" to travel to different places of worship is being organized and Global Healing Day has been agreed to be an annual occurrence for the sostice in December.

In addition we have group social gatherings, informal meetings when necessary to discuss the various upcoming projects & brainstorming, as well as awareness raising events such as film showings. By bringing the transformative power of art & healing into the community the PHAAA encourage us to strive for creative solutions to the ecological problems our society faces today.
