Art to be made from plastic and trash collected by TRANSITION TOWNS on St Kilda beach

Good work Transition Towns on your efforts to collect 7 kilos of plastics and trash on the St Kilda beach this morning. This rubbish will not end up in the sea now. Among the collection was plastic wrappers mostly, plastic cups, straws, plastic bottle caps, plastic bottles, lighters, a pair of jocks, a door stopper salvaged by one of the helpers and anything else they found. Photograph attached is an example of what things were collected. They will be made into an art work.

WORLD OCEANS DAY - 8th June 2012

Remember the oceans today. It is World Oceans Day. Visit the sea if you have time, say a prayer
or just talk to the ocean or pick up some plastic trash dumped in the street as it usually ends up polluting the sea.
The ocean has its job to do and has been there for many years. It has seen you so acknowledge and thank it for all
the healing it has done and continues to do for us and our planet.

Hey World,

This is the rare VENUS TRANSIT of the Sun 6th June 2012. Venus eclipsing the sun represents an awakening of the Divine Femine energies in our world. Venus (femine) eclipsing in front of the Sun (masculine) where masculine and femine energies unite balancing each other.

Human Conciousness awakens creating compassion within our hearts where emotional healing can occur, in order to be able to express Unconditional Love - to be able to love without attachments or expectations.

Peace on Planet Earth is the New Reality. Enjoy...

Blessings Mia

Phaaa Gathering Today - Indigenous exceeded Non Indigenous

Wow today we welcomed phaaa artists from Mildura, Leo Male, Aunty Barb, Paula and Holly Walker for such a memorable occassion. In addition we welcomed Lakota John, an American Indian on the Sacred Path who will perform an American Indian healing ceremony at our Planetary Healing Day event later in the year - 21st December 2012.
Lunch was full of laughs with all the excitement in a very crowded Galleon Cafe and two indigenous paintings were sold on the day of Paula Walker and Sharon Kirby's art work.

Point Nepean Healing Ceremony

It has been another busy week and life is happening.
Need to report with such short notice last week a couple of the Planetary Artists managed to be at the truly amazing smoke healing ceremony and meditation at Point Nepean on the weekend.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the bay and the Mornington Peninsula Interfaith Network. Point Nepean is a sacred site for woman.
The walk was lead by Gunditjamara Elder, Uncle Lionel Lauch.

Phaaa Healing the Bay - Artists' Celebration - at the Galleon Cafe

The Galleon Cafe was busy today and people arrived at different times. Appologies for the confusion. The idea was for artists to have a gathering and the public to meet them. It was impossible to have a formal opening because festival time is so overcrowded. Let us know if you would like another event to meet the artists and we could arrange one after the St Kilda festival.
Disappointed we missed some people like Mara, Mary, Anne, Verity and Adrian. However to prove some of us were there a photo is posted below of some of the artists at the celebration,  phaaa Mia
Please note extreme weather conditions happening - around 2pm high 30's tropical weather and upon leaving a couple of hours later after heavy rain cold winter weather needing something warm to put on.
